High Camp

Well, we finally recieved word from the mountain, everyone is doing great and has kept moving through the weather. The Johnsons are up at High Camp today and will take a few days to acclimate before going for the summit.

No one is going anywhere today, we aren't sure where they are at but the snow front is still hanging over the mountain.

7,800 ft

The Johnson Expedition took an extra day at base camp to learn the tricks of the trade in greater depth. Today they moved to 7,800 ft.

Base Camp

Jeff and Justin traveled to Talkeena today and flew out to the glacier around 2pm. Both of them were pretty psyched to get on their way. They will be rousing early tomorrow morning to start hiking, weather is slightly warmer than it has been and clear.

The Johnsonson's are in Alaska!!

Today the Johnsons are doing a gear shake down and running around Anchorage for those last minute items, with their guides Bill Billmeir and Joe Butler. They will be heading to Talkeena tomorrow to catch their flight to the mountain.
